Wow…it has been almost 3 years since my last full wedding that I photographed!! College definitely got in the way of this who photo biz but I’m so happy to have the time to take on weddings again. Today, I am bringing you Jenna and John’s beautiful day from Michael’s at the Grove in Bethel, CT. This is a cute little “hole-in-the-wall” type wedding venue but the staff was incredibly kind and I had such fun.
This was my first time photographing a wedding for a blended family it was seriously so incredibly sweet! During the ceremony, they gave each of the children a beautiful necklace with an infinity sign to represent the unity of their beautiful family. The older children took the places as Maid of Honor and Best Man and, honestly, did an incredible job. This also made for the sweetest reception moments during the Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances when they also took the floor. It took all I had not to cry some serious happy tears watching the love this family has for one-another.
But now, I know why you’re really here so enjoy a sneak peek of their special day!!
I’m totally a sucker for a good halo ring!!
This mother-daughter moment was so sweet! So glad I captured it!!
Cutest little best man ever!!
Their reactions were so sweet! I am in love with first looks now and wish I’d had one!!
Have you ever seen a cooler duo walking into a wedding?! The answer is no…
The sweetest moment of the whole ceremony, in my opinion! A beautiful infinity sign bestowed upon each of the kids to represent their never-ending unity as a new family!! How sweet?!
Those just married feelings are some of my favorite to photograph!!
What you can’t see is me slightly out of left frame sweltering in the heat because I didn’t watch the weather report…shoutout to my second shooter Ryan for this great shot!!
This sunset glow was giving my life!!!
Jenna was seriously such a stunning bride! I had to take a minute to get a few solo shots of her before the reception!
Such a magical first dance!!
How cute is this little “Up” inspired cake topper! Love it!!
Always a favorite moment from a wedding day! Seriously the sweetest!!
Shoutout to Michael’s at the Grove for being an awesome venue to work with at this wedding. Definitely hope I get the chance for more weddings here soon!
