I’m in so many facebook groups that are always looking for song suggestions and that led to my first post in this series regarding First Dance songs. Today, I am here with my favorite Parent Dance songs.
I’ve seen quite a lot of heartfelt Parent dances as a wedding photographer, but I’ve also seen less conventional Sibling dances for a myriad of reasons. For my Sister-in-Law’s wedding she danced with my husband, Ryan, because they were very close. For other weddings, the sibling took the place of a parent who couldn’t be there (for one reason or another). Some of these would make great sibling dance songs too if that is the route you are taking!!
In no particular order…
Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle (a true classic)
My Wish by Rascal Flatts
My Little Girl by Tim McGraw (my own father-daughter song!)
I Loved Her First by Heartland
Simple Man by Shinedown (I prefer this one to Lynyrd Skynyrd)
You’re My Best Friend by Queen
Daughters by John Mayer
Humble & Kind by Tim McGraw
You’ll Be in My Heart by Phil Collins (from Tarzan for all my Disney fans!)
In My Daughter’s Eyes by Martina McBride
