Hello lovely people! We are at the end of 2022 and it has been a YEAR!! I am not somebody who usually does things so this year was packed full of memories I will cherish forever! If you are looking for a look back on the sessions I did this year, you can check that out HERE but for those interested in the personal side of things…here we go!!
This year started with a quiet ringing in with my in-laws! It was a fun to have dinner and board games to ease into another big year!
January was a quiet month but February brought New England regionals with these amazing ninjas!!
I got a visit from my best friend before she moved to Minnesota!! Still don’t know how I’m supposed to get through life with her a plane ride away…
March brought us trips to Mystic Aquarium with my family.
And May brought something incredibly exciting…Ryan finished Grad School!! After a long and arduous journey, he finished his Master’s of Education in TESOL!
Lots of races this year including this massive 10k race in Mystic (and always very sweaty hugs after)
I got to see my niece Everly perform in her second Dance Recital and she did amazing!! Such a little star on the stage!
And we discovered the best ice cream place (with Vegan options for me!!)
I got to fulfill some Auntie time and brought Everly to the Ninja gym to finish her semester of classes and course runs!! She did so great!!
July brought our trip to Ithaca, NY (Full recap HERE) and it was amazing to get away and spend some time with my favorite human.
Also in July, Will turned THREE and time is going by way too fast!
More races including this one on the HOTTEST day ever!!
August brought us to our Family Vacation! We used to take it in Maine but because of Red Seaweed issues we’ve moved in to Cape Cod and it did not disappoint!!
On our way home from Cape Cod, we noticed the signs for the zoo and it was AMAZING!! We made plans to drive back up for it and it is massive! It has so many animals and was incredible to experience!!
It wouldn’t be September without a quick trip to Fenway and…they WON!!
September also brought miss Everly’s seventh birthday and a reminder that I’m aging rapidly…
We brought back our tradition of Apple Picking and Belltown might be our new favorite orchard!!
And of course visited the Berlin fair because Fall in New England isn’t the same without a town fair. A yes…that is a massive Pokemon that Ryan won for me on his shoulders…
October meant the start of a new season of Ninja and Ryan took 3rd at his first competition of the season!!
More ninja competitions with the best ninjas around!! Love this Windsor crew so much!!
And Halloween at the gym!! Can you guess who I was?? Such a fun and festive night with the best ninjas!
Had an incredibly sweet Thanksgiving with our families.
Took some family photos and made sure to include Feather (of course).
A magical Christmas in our little home together!
And even brought Ryan to his first ever Broadway show!! Warning to anybody easily offended but this show had me crying from laughter…
And yes…we were second row back from the stage and it was absolutely magical!
Our year ended with Pokemon and Pizza…can’t imagine it any other way!!
Here’s hoping for a magical new year filled with happiness and dreams coming true!!
