I didn’t put the dates together in my head when I booked Ashly and Mike’s wedding on the day I turned 25 but honestly, it was a great way to spend the day. I love photographing weddings close to home because everything just feels a little more relaxed on my part and their gorgeous Mystic Hilton wedding was no exception!
The day began with a morning of laughter as Ashly and her beautiful bridesmaids got ready at the hotel. This was such a fun bridal party to work with and they made everything so much easier. Later, an unbelievable ceremony at St. Paul’s Church in Waterford seriously brought me to tears. The love that these to share is so genuine and it carried throughout their special day. Portraits took place at Harkness, which will forever be a favorite of mine. Thankfully the cloudy skies held off the rain for us to get some gorgeous fall colors in too!! A new favorite of mine, the Mystic Hilton, provided a fun-filled reception and some of the most heartwarming dances I’ve seen this year. Ashly danced with her brother and half the room was tearing up (myself included)!
If you had seen me throughout this wedding, I had a smile on my face from start to finish because it was just that amazing. Having clients like Ashly and Mike always reminds me why I love what I do!! Now onto what you really came here to see…their gorgeous pictures!!
