This wedding was something else y’all…in the best kind of way! When I first met Gwen and Zach they instantly felt like old friends. Gwen has such a vivacious personality that reminds me so much of my best friends Sonja that it’s crazy!! Her then fiancé, now husband, Zach is super down to earth and chill yet still so funny that it’s easy to see how their personalities complement so well with one another. When they told me they were having a backyard wedding with a Rock n Roll theme…y’all I almost screamed. Backyard weddings are some of my favorites and Rock n Roll is such a cool vibe that I’ve never gotten the chance to capture before. It was everything I’d hoped for and I honestly forgot I was working a few times because they made their day that fun and special (and took care of their vendors which is always appreciated!!).

The morning was the most chill a getting ready portion could be. Gwen got ready with the help of her Matron of Honor and had to work to get some calmer photos because they were laughing and smiling the entire time (as they should be!!). They had the most gorgeous homemade wedding invites that look like little CDs and all the florals were made by the bride herself!!

Peep that sweet little flower girl in the corner as she watches “Miss Gwen” getting ready for her big day!!

Can we please talk about these earrings though?! How freaking awesome are these and so on theme too!!

The guys suited up in their Music Room (how cool is it that this family home has a music room btw?!) and you could tell that Zach was just excited the entire time. He didn’t seem nervous, just happy that he finally gets to marry the lady of his dreams!! A lot of laughs with his groomsmen and some heartfelt moments with his Dad are always the best to capture.

We geared up for the ceremony and I knew it was going to be a good one. These two have the sweetest love where you can just tell how naturally they work together as a couple. They make each other smile and laugh in the most genuine way that just radiates to all of those around them.

Such adorable flower girl and ring bearer taking their jobs very seriously!

That first look seeing the person you love will never stop being one of my favorite moments at a wedding.

Gwen’s personality is magical and seeing her laugh and tear up during her vows felt truly special because you could tell every word was from the bottom of her heart.

If you’re not at least this excited after marrying your favorite person then you need some hype because I am here for all of this!!

When you realize you just got a new sister and you can’t contain those feelings…

The beautiful bridesmaids!! These ladies were so much fun all night long!!

Again…the bride made these florals herself!! Safe to say there is a hidden talent in there because these were gorgeous!!

It’s not a wedding if your groomsmen aren’t waiting with a beer for you to chug during photos!

Definitely one of my new favorite wedding images of all time. I just love how epic and gorgeous the big tree and this sweet couple are.

There’s not much in life sweeter than having somebody look at you the way Zach looks at Gwen…

These parent dances always give me the feels y’all. I don’t think I’ve had a wedding where I didn’t tear up at them (and this was no exception)!!

So thankful we were able to get a little glimpse of sunset between the clouds that rolled in! This late summer glow is everything right now!!

Dance break during sunset photos? Always a great idea!!

Easily one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever photographed and one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the blessing of working with!!
